Timber Salvage near Ptarmigan Creek, east of Prince George

July 23, 2001
Natural Resource Region: omineca
District: prince-george

The complainant objected to the district manager’s approval of a one-year forest development plan that allowed the licensee to harvest over 50 percent of green wood from lightly damaged stands, exceeding the 40 percent limit set for the multi-year licence.

The Board conducts its work throughout British Columbia, and we respectfully acknowledge the territories of the many Indigenous Peoples who have lived on these lands since time immemorial.
